My Kindle

My kindle has arrived yesterday :)

Advantages: 

1. I can read any book I want, no more aramex shipping costs.
2. The text to speech feature is awesome! I can let the kindle read the book for me. 
3. I can carry many books in this tiny device. 
4. The built in dictionary which you can use while reading is nice.

Disadvantages:

1. I can only buy the books with a US credit card. I have used my friend's american express this morning. 
2. I can't read pdf files on the kindle. (I will look for a solution)

* there will still be more things but I will need at least a month to give you a good review.

Reasons why I want this:

1. Aramex shipments are becoming more and more expensive, last month I ordered a book for 8 KD and the shipping cost was 8 KD => 16 KD Total.
2. I really don't read the whole book (unless its a novel). I read specific topics, chapters (20% of the book on average).
3. I really would like to be able to search my books!!!
4. I think its really cool to have all your books, heavy references in one tiny thing.

I'm planning to get the new kindle, they said its coming this fall, didn't get the first one, (read lots of complaints and issues) so i decided to wait for the next one ...

never had one, but i liked the idea of having all your books, notes, ... etc in one small device ...
